Hydration
Mass gatherings often lead situations where remaining hydrated is not always the first thing on the minds of the event attendees. We walk the crowds looking for people who may need assistance or simply giving gentle reminders to keep hydrated. We also make water more readily available and try to prevent patients from succumbing to dehydration.
HEARING PROTECTION
Some events can be really loud! We offer free hearing protection at events. And if you want to give your eardrums an extra special treat, we've partnered with Ear Piece to provide specially-crafted hearing protection that will let you enjoy the music in all it's glory while keeping your ears from harm.
Sexual Safety
Helping to control the spread of HIV and other sexually-transmitted diseases is one of our main focuses. Festival and concert environments can lead to spur-of-the-moment decisions. We make male and female condoms readily available and can provide information about safe sex and sexually-transmitted diseases.
Why Ambassadors Are Vital
At music festivals, concerts, cruises, and other large gatherings, the excitement can quickly turn overwhelming. With crowds packed into tight spaces, often under intense heat, it’s easy for attendees to feel uncomfortable or anxious—especially when alcohol or recreational drugs are involved.
In these environments, approaching a uniformed officer, security guard, or medical staff can feel intimidating. That’s where our Ambassadors step in. They bridge the gap between attendees and our medical team, offering a friendly face and a helping hand.
We encourage Ambassadors to mingle, make friends, and enjoy the event while staying vigilant for anyone or anything that seems off.
